Combat Sports Marketing with Duel Fight Sports and peep magazine in Newcastle upon Tyne

Based in Newcastle upon tyne, Walker Ne6 Suite. The Duel Fight Sports company was the perfect platform and place to showcase our combat sports marketing skills.

peep had some previous experience with the Duel Fight Sports company. We had filmed many events there, including photographing the first ever Bare Knuckle boxing event in Newcastle upon Tyne.

With our unique style of combat sports marketing, we approached Duel Fight Sports, which was the most creative combat sports events company in the entire North East of England.

The fights were wild, exciting and unpredictable, just what every combat sports show needs to be.

We admired the company so much that we decide to become partners and approached David Weild with our marketing strategy for this unique sports brand.

David Weild was very open to a new approach to combat sports marketing, and felt other companies were lacking in creativity going forward. He was ‘all ears’ to what peep magazine had planned.

The most memorable Duel Fight Sports shows was Duel Fight Sports – ‘Escape From Walker‘ and the ‘DUEL Grand Prix‘ show. Both shows presented and filmed in the Walker Dome, Walker, Newcastle. These Kick-boxing shows had a completely different approach and peep wanted to create something different.

‘Escape from Walker‘ was a defining highlight of the Duel Fight Sports Experience. We took inspiration from John Carpenter’s ‘Escape From New York‘ and this cult classic film ‘Escape From L.A‘. We created our own homage called ‘Escape From Walker’ and began to created and design all marketing material. This included promo videos, interviews and posters to accompany this combat sports live event.

An exceptional experience for peep, was the filming and promoting Duel Grand Prix live show, which was without a shadow of a doubt, the greatest ever kickboxing event to be staged in newcastle upon Tyne.

Duel Grand Prix was un-matched in regards to fighters, commentary and general production. The tournament showcased some of the leading Kick-boxers in the country introducing a six man-tournament, which was mixed with traditional K-1style-Kickboxing and Muay Thai Boxing.
