Jobes Boxing Event Promotions By peep® Newcastle

Jobes Boxing Promotions and Boxing Club Contact peep® Newcastle To Market Their Sports Events.

Jobes Boxing Promotions approached peep to help with marketing their unique grass roots professional boxing promotional company here in Newcastle upon Tyne. We started our promotion at their Gym in Scotswood, Newcastle and began to interview the organisers and owners, we then continued to interview every boxer scheduled to fight on the bill, with the help of top boxing journalist – Phil Lindsay.

The event and weigh-in was scheduled for the Hilton Hotel Gateshead. It has to be mentioned that Jobes Boxing Promotions event was a very ambitious first show in the way of scale, preparations and marketing attractions.

The first thing that caught our attention was the fire eating street performers based at the entrance of the Hilton Hotel. This really made a great impression moving forward into the venue, which was a sea of black suites and ties with an immaculately well presented venue room.

peep marketed this entire event. We recorded live interviews at the Gym and Promoted the Gym with current affairs boxing journalism. The Press Conference was organised by myself and sound engineer – Graham Temple Sowerby. This involved setting up the top table with several Microphones, which were connected to an audio mixer and then connected to multiple speakers for optimum sound levels within the hall.

Ironically enough, Jobes Boxing Gym was one of the first gyms we stepped into all those years ago. The people within the Gym have changed , but the determination to promote young boxers has not wavered. Owner – Matt Jobes work tirelessly within a boxing environment to help young disadvantaged kids into the gym and train them for a brighter future.
